The wonderful octagonal home in which Sr. Marie
hosted Monday night
Community Suppers for decades,
burned beyond repair and was razed.

The St. Francis Community has replaced it with a
"caretaker's cottage" for a couple of long-time community members who are caretakers for Lucy.

The plans for the house were developed
by an architect friend of the community.

The house has a wheel-chair accessible
first floor bedroom should
Lucy need to move from the big house.

Lucy's Legacy Endowment Fund

Helping support the Saint Francis Community,
the Covenant Community Land Trust,
and H.O.ME. Inc.
(all non-profit charities started by Lucy)
We have a dream of starting an endowment fund to
ensure that the charities that Lucy started will continue for many years to come.
Volunteers and friends from decades ago and former students
are invited to get in touch with us again,
for our history project as well as fundraising.
